Activity

Travel from Tbilisi/Kutaisi to Svaneti. optional is lunch in Zugdidi, Overnight in the village of Nakra

Hike to tiny village of Kichkhuldash, overnight in traditional Svan family - Nakra - Kichkhldash trail in going on the part of ancient silk road. it is 5-6 hours hike, all around 13 km
Hike from Kichkhldash to Etseri, - this is a bit longer day and passes the village Pari where I recommend to visit Pari's medieval church or arch-angel, where we can explore Svaneti's rare facade painting and architecture. approximate time is 7-9 hours and 18 km-s.
Hike from Etseri to Mazeri over Bach pass.  - Etseri-mazeri is around 6-8 hours. overnight in (optional Grand hotel Ushba) Mazeri
Hike Mazeri to "Shdugra waferfalls" - 4/5 hours hiking round trip, transfer from Mazeri to Mestia by mini-bus.

Visit cultural sites of Mestia, 2 museums and medieval (2 floors) church of Lagami, evening is free. (on this day it is recommended to stay in Mestia and rest between the hiking days)

Hike from Mestia to Zhabesh. it is about 15 km-s and takes 5-6 hours all over

Hike from Zhbesh to Hadish. hike is about 10 km-s, but mostly going up, so it takes 6-7 hours and crosses the ski-resort of Tetnuldi. Same day, transfer from Hadish to Ushguli by 4wd. vans , overnight in Ushguli

Hike from Ushguli to Shkhara glacier. 6 hours round trip. transfer to Mestia. overnight in Mestia.

Transfer from Mestia to the airport.
